The park we normally go to is right at the Hamilton-Burlington SPCA (Dartnall and Rymal), but that would be pretty far for people outside of Hamilton. There is a big fenced leash free park in Oakville (Shell Park), Burlington (QEW and Kings Rd I believe), as well as a good one in Mississauga (Toto something or other lol).
I guess see where most of us are from and try to find a happy medium :o)
I'm glad there are some others around our area, as even the "West End Brampton" meet up is quite the trek for us.

I would be interested in the SPCA dog park or shell park for sure. Apollo is only 3mths old so no too sure if he's too small right now.

The park in Mississauga near Heritage Road and Steeles is called Totoredaca, its very near my place but, maybe somewhere in Oakville would be int the middle for a westend meetup.C

Shell Park in Oakville is on Lakeshore Rd. and just east of Burloak. It is pretty big but no trees or anything, just open space. I much prefer it to the Burlington park, but would definitely like to try out Totoredaca sometime, as I've heard good things about it.
Rob - does Apollo have all his shots?

Apollo has his first set and boosters. He's scheduled in 2 weeks to get the next round. I'm not 100% sure what's left but rabies is one of them I know for sure.

He's starting obedience training Mar.25th and he's been approved from the shots already.

Hey Krista, just let me know when you want to check out Totoredaca and Abby and I will meet you there. Also, if you want to meet at the other park in Oakville you mentioned we could do that to.C

I took Apollo to the dartnal SPCA dog park today for the first time. He was a bit scared at first but then became quite comfortable with the other dogs. I went with a friend that has a 2 1/2 yr old female DANe. She helped Apollo when overwhelmed by others. I must say I was impressed. Anytime we want to meet here, jsut let me know!!!
